• Made To Be Worn

Vaeric jewellery is made to be enjoyed, not kept in a box.

With a little care, your piece can continue looking its best for years to come. Because we work with unusual materials including meteorite, fossil, opal and natural stone, some pieces require a little more attention than conventional jewellery.

  • Everyday Care

Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering, strenuous exercise or using cleaning chemicals.

Avoid prolonged contact with perfumes, lotions, hand sanitiser and other chemicals.

When you're not wearing your piece, keep it somewhere clean and dry and avoid storing it where it can be scratched by other jewellery.

After wearing, a quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth will help remove oils and moisture.

  • Caring For Meteorite

Meteorite is an iron-rich material and requires particular care around moisture.

Keep meteorite jewellery as dry as possible and avoid wearing it while swimming, showering or washing your hands for prolonged periods.

If your ring becomes wet, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Occasionally applying a very small amount of suitable protective oil can also help protect exposed meteorite from moisture and oxidation.

  • Caring For Fossil & Natural Inlays

Materials such as dinosaur bone, Megalodon tooth and natural stone have spent millions of years forming — but that doesn't mean they're indestructible.

Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged exposure to water.

Although our inlays are carefully finished and protected, treating your jewellery with care will help preserve its appearance.

  • Caring For Opal

Opal is chosen for its incredible colour and depth.

To keep it looking its best, avoid harsh chemicals, excessive heat and abrasive cleaning products.

Clean your Vaeric piece gently using a soft cloth rather than aggressive jewellery cleaners.

  • Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally develops tarnish over time. This is normal and can usually be removed using a suitable silver polishing cloth.

Avoid aggressive polishing around inlays and textured finishes, as this can alter the intended appearance of the piece.

  • Black Zirconium, Titanium & Other Metals

These metals are chosen for their durability, but no jewellery is completely scratch-proof.

Everyday wear will gradually leave its mark. We see this as part of the character of a piece that is genuinely worn.

Avoid abrasive cleaners or attempting to polish specialist finishes yourself.
